Midterm election years are NOT bearish. Ignore the misinformation out there.
It’s fake, just like the 4 year cycle.
7 of the last 12 midterm years ended positive for the S&P 500.
Not only that, there was an average gain of 16.3% in the 12 months following midterms.
Before pointing to crypto in 2018 and 2022, both years overlapped Fed quantitative tightening. THAT’S why it was a red year.
You cannot ignore the monetary tightening happening in the background and call “midterm year” an explanation.
Midterm election year thesis is identifying a date only, just like 4 year cycle.
It’s an illusion.
