Really sad to read about the CryptoBilis incident, an authorised Ledger retailer that ended up selling tampered Ledger devices. My heart goes out to everyone affected. Imagine buying a hardware wallet to protect your crypto, only to end up losing your funds because the device was compromised 😢 I’ve never been comfortable buying hardware wallets from resellers, even authorised ones. There’s always an additional supply chain risk. My personal rule is to only buy directly from the manufacturer’s official website to reduce the risk of retailers tampering the devices.
