[Glassnode Co-Founder: Approximately 6.26 Million BTC Public Keys Have Been Exposed On-Chain, Accounting for 31.2% of Circulating Supply]
Glassnode co-founder Rafael Schultze-Kraft, based on on-chain data, stated that the public keys of addresses holding approximately 6.26 million BTC have been exposed, accounting for 31.2% of the current circulating supply, up from 24.8% at the beginning of 2021. Among these, approximately 4.33 million BTC were exposed due to address reuse, and about 1.94 million BTC were related to script types. He emphasized that this statistic does not indicate that quantum attacks are currently feasible, nor can it be used to assess the security status of exchanges or custodial institutions.
