The attackers also threatened the victim at gunpoint, compelling him to transfer $820,000 worth of cryptocurrency into one of their wallets, which was immediately sold off. After escaping, the victim reported the incident to the police. Authorities have yet to confirm the nationalities of the three suspects. The police's Second Region has launched an investigation, identifying the getaway vehicle through surveillance footage; the vehicle was later abandoned in a remote area. Law enforcement is currently tracking the sold digital assets to identify related accounts and recover the funds.
