BlockBeats News, October 9 – On October 9, Moderna will officially be included in the Nasdaq 100 Index before the U.S. stock market opens at 9:30 PM Beijing time (October 9), replacing Warner Bros. Discovery. This adjustment was announced on October 1. Recently, reports of a suspected pneumonic plague incident in Russia have also drawn attention to vaccine stocks. On October 5, Moderna's stock rose approximately 6.95%. However, as of the latest public information, the pathogen of the incident has not been confirmed by the WHO, and Russian authorities stated that tests on contacts did not detect plague. The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control also noted that there is no evidence of sustained human-to-human transmission.
