According to TheEnergyMag, Bitdeer Technologies Group has submitted Form 6-K to the SEC, authorizing a $100 million share buyback from October 8, 2026, to October 7, 2028. This new plan follows the $40 million buyback approved in May 2025, which has already been fully utilized. The document was signed by CEO Jihan Wu and incorporated into multiple registration statements, including Form F-3 and Form S-8.
Bitdeer also withdrew an earlier announcement and requested recipients to disregard it, subsequently releasing a replacement announcement with significant differences: the new facility is the newly built 67 MW A901 campus in Malaysia, not the previously mentioned 60 MW A103. The locked AI Cloud capacity is now 273.5 MW, accounting for 78% of the 350 MW target, instead of 333.5 MW, 95%. This marks Malaysia's third new campus, rather than an expansion of the existing Cyberjaya campus.
The agreement spans 10 years, with infrastructure designed around the NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 system. Capacity delivery is expected to begin in Q1 2027, with full delivery targeted for Q2 2027. The AI Cloud sales pipeline is still projected to exceed $10 billion.
