[Report: Approximately $50 Billion Has Flowed into the Crypto Market This Year, with Momentum Improving in Q4] According to The Block, analysts at JPMorgan released a report estimating that approximately $50 billion has flowed into digital assets since the start of 2023, with an annualized rate of about $66 billion. This is higher than the $52 billion reported in May but still about half the pace of last year. The report highlights that ETF fund flows have improved since August, turning into net inflows for the year. Institutional positions in CME Bitcoin and Ethereum futures have rebounded over the past two months. Public companies' treasuries remain the primary buyers, while Bitcoin miners have been net sellers of approximately $1.8 billion this year. Analysts believe that the increase in ETF fund flows and futures positions in Q3 has provided positive momentum for capital flows in Q4.
