Just wrote too fast earlier and missed expanding on one piece of info.
If this time the drop in $BTC is really caused by the U.S. government selling coins, it’s possible they think the price has reached a pretty decent level.
This could represent their own stance, or it might be a reflection of broader market expectations. Or maybe they’re just short on cash and really need to liquidate to keep things running.
If it’s the latter, then the situation is more serious. With U.S. bond yields continuously rising, the cost for the U.S. government to raise funds is also increasing. The trend of liquidity being squeezed out of treasury bonds, corporate bonds, U.S. stocks, and other assets is becoming more apparent, and tight liquidity could break this fragile balance at any moment.
Taking a step back, even if we’re truly in the early stages of a bull market, a deeper correction or a "late spring chill" would still be completely normal.
