V3 assets are custodied on Ethereum, utilizing ZK proofs for margin and settlement processing, and supporting sub-millisecond order matching. The new version enables no-code vault creation, offers ETH and BTC risk hedging to enhance capital efficiency, and supports lending and borrowing of ETH, WBTC, HYPE, and USDC. Previously, the Derive community proposed migrating V2 positions to V3 and shutting down Derive Chain.
