Exactly.
Comparison of data from three trading terminals on 10/7:
▌FOMO - $151m trading volume, 1.33 million transactions, average per transaction around $113.9
▌Axiom - $137.20m trading volume, 2.11 million transactions, average per transaction around $65
▌GMGN - $69.61m trading volume, 817,910 transactions, average per transaction around $85.1
FOMO had the highest daily trading volume and the highest average transaction amount; Axiom had the most transactions but the smallest average per transaction; GMGN is somewhere in the middle.
FOMO is a KOL-driven product, with more large-scale traders. Its first principle is that liquidity follows attention, taking on-chain trending lists to the extreme.
Axiom users trade most frequently, likely high-frequency traders, bots, or retail investors making quick in-and-out moves. Its first principle is speed equals Alpha, pushing speed and efficiency to the limit.
GMGN has the most comprehensive functionality. The advantage of the "big and complete" approach is fast cold starts and high retention, but the fatal trap is that when all needs are met, cognitive load increases exponentially.
A thousand thoughtful features often can't beat a single razor-sharp tool.
Of course, this is just my observation and may be biased.
