Wu Blockchain has learned that Jacob Creech, a developer from Solana's core development team Anza, stated that unlike some blockchains, Solana users don’t need to urgently move their assets due to AI-accelerated password cracking or quantum computing threats. He explained that Solana uses the Ed25519 signature algorithm, where signing keys are derived from a secret seed through hashing. Even if elliptic curve cryptography is broken in the future, attackers still cannot directly recover the original seed. Theoretically, Solana can introduce a hash-based seed ownership proof through a network upgrade, allowing original holders to verify their identity and migrate to a more secure signature scheme. Anza has already developed a proof-of-concept prototype for this. Creech emphasized that Solana remains secure and has a technical roadmap to address future cryptographic threats. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/solana-devs-no-fortress-mode-quantum-resistant-wallet-migration-prototype-69716
