Gate collaborates with Visa to launch encrypted associated cards, bringing digital assets into daily consumption
Odaily Planet Daily News: During the period of TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026, according to official announcements, Gate announced a partnership with Visa to launch encrypted asset linked cards, and related services are expected to be launched in over 40 global markets. Users can apply for and manage the card through the Gate App, and use digital assets to make payments at online and offline merchants accepted by Visa. During the payment process, the relevant digital assets will be automatically exchanged for fiat currency. Gate has officially launched Gate Money, which combines digital assets, fiat currencies, stocks, and more ETF、 Integrate functions such as gold, bank accounts, and payments into the Gate App. Eligible users can apply for a global bank electronic account under their own name online, and complete operations such as fund receipt and payment, asset exchange, and payment on the same platform. The Visa encrypted asset linked card launched by Gate further connects account assets with daily consumption scenarios, extending Gate Money's integrated service chain of "account opening funds assets consumption" to more real-life payment scenarios. Currently, users can activate Gate Money with just one click by updating the Gate App to version 8.39.0. Visa's digital payment network covers over 200 countries and regions, with over 175 million merchant acceptance points. This collaboration will integrate Gate's digital asset capabilities with Visa's global payment infrastructure, expanding the application of digital assets in shopping, dining, travel, and other daily consumption scenarios. Dr. Han, founder and CEO of Gate, stated that this collaboration will connect digital asset accounts with a wider range of commercial consumption scenarios, making the use of digital assets more flexible and intuitive, and promoting their integration into daily financial life and business activities.
