[Grok Bot Free X Search: No Account Binding Needed, Automatically Tracks Hot Topics] Dongcha Beating AI News: SpaceXAI has updated the X search and monitoring features of its AI assistant, Grok Bot. All Grok Bot users can now have the bot collect posts and track topics without binding an X account or configuring a connector. For example, it can continuously monitor user reviews of a product, track breaking news, or regularly compile industry trends. Grok Bot integrated with X as early as August, but at that time, account binding and querying posts via the X API were required. Now, users can directly use the built-in tools to search and read X. Combined with the existing scheduled task feature, the bot can periodically check the latest posts, organize the results, and send them back to the conversation. Grok Bot developers revealed that querying X previously incurred costs, but now read-only queries are free, though there are still frequency limits. For non-read-only operations like posting, an X connector is still required. The official has not yet announced the specific free query quota. [Original Link]
