Odaily Planet Daily News – According to official sources, on October 8, full-stack technology infrastructure and tokenization solution provider Asseto announced a partnership with licensed fund service provider AlfaR to jointly develop a Digital Transfer Agent (DTA) service system. This system is built on Asseto's on-chain infrastructure, enabling fund shares and securities holder registries to be directly recorded and maintained on the blockchain, making on-chain records formal ownership registration. The two parties will promote long-term business and technology integration through joint operations. Asseto will be responsible for tokenization technology, on-chain infrastructure, and distribution networks, while AlfaR will provide full-chain fund administrative services, including investor onboarding, net asset value calculation, transfer agency, and more.
The collaboration will start with fund products, streamlining the entire process of investor onboarding, subscription, transfer, and redemption, offering asset managers a one-stop on-chain fund operation service. According to a September 1 announcement by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), it plans to amend transfer agent rules to allow registered transfer agents to use blockchain as the official securities holder registry for the first time. This joint operation of the DTA service system by Asseto and AlfaR is expected to accelerate the implementation of this model.
