According to Bloomberg, cybersecurity consultant Jonathan Spalletta has been found guilty by a New York jury. Prosecutors accused him of attacking the now-defunct crypto exchange Uranium Finance twice in 2021, stealing approximately $55 million in assets. Spalletta allegedly laundered money through mixers like Tornado Cash and faces up to 20 years in prison, with sentencing scheduled for February 16 next year. Law enforcement seized around $31 million in crypto assets and over $3 million worth of rare Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering cards from his residence. He also reportedly spent over $600,000 on an ancient Roman coin commemorating Caesar's assassination. https://(wublock123.com)/news/uranium-finance-55m-heist-conviction-pokemon-card-purchases-69683
