[Tether Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Kazakhstan's Central Bank to Explore Stablecoins and Asset Tokenization] Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on October 7, Tether announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK) and the Akimat of Almaty City (ACA). The three parties will explore collaboration opportunities in areas such as stablecoin applications, asset tokenization, and decentralized finance. According to the agreement, the parties will study international models for stablecoin issuance and develop a concept and pilot program for a stablecoin pegged to Kazakhstan's national currency, the tenge. Additionally, they will explore establishing an asset tokenization framework, research priority asset categories for tokenization, and consider utilizing Tether's asset tokenization platform, Hadron, for pilot projects.
