There's a data point worth watching next week.
The U.S. September CPI will be released on October 14 (Wednesday) at 20:30 (UTC+8).
After this data comes out, the market will mainly focus on two things:
Whether inflation continues to rise and whether the Fed's rate cut expectations will change accordingly.
For those just starting to pay attention to macro data, there's no need to dive into overly complex analysis right away.
You can start with the simplest comparison:
Actual data vs. market expectations.
If the CPI is significantly higher than expected, the market might reassess its rate cut expectations; if it's lower than expected, rate cut expectations might heat up.
Then, take a look at how BTC, ETH, the U.S. dollar, and U.S. Treasury yields move after the data is released.
After observing this a few times, the relationship between macro data and crypto prices will become easier to understand.
Mark your calendar for October 14 at 20:30 and keep an eye on this CPI release.
