[Arthur Hayes: FLOP Testnet to Launch This October, Mainnet to Go Live in Q1 Next Year] Foresight News live report: BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes stated at TOKEN2049 in Singapore that the AI Agent payment project FLOP Network is currently running on an internal development network. The project is expected to launch a 90-day testnet this October and plans to activate the genesis block of its mainnet in the first quarter of next year. Hayes mentioned that during the testnet phase, users participating in mining, validation, or simply using the network through AI Agents will be eligible to receive FLOP Tokens. Starting in late October, FLOP plans to release 25% of its token supply for the next ten years via airdrops. The project will not conduct any presales. After the mainnet launch, FLOP Tokens can only be obtained through mining or purchased from miners. Additionally, Hayes stated that FLOP aims to build a native payment network for AI Agents, with its core design ensuring that the tokens directly correspond to the computational resources required by AI Agents.
