[Bridgewater Fund Founder: AI Bubble May Be Nearing Its Breaking Point] According to Deep Tide TechFlow on October 7, billionaire and Bridgewater Fund founder Ray Dalio warned that artificial intelligence represents a "classic bubble," which is gradually approaching its breaking point as interest rates rise and wealth needs to be converted into cash. Dalio stated that a significant amount of debt is currently being used to fund AI. As interest rates continue to climb, the bubble may begin to burst at this juncture. He said, "We are at a stage in the cycle where we are nearing this point, and I think we are very close to it." He added that other factors could also trigger the bubble's collapse, including wealth taxes and other measures aimed at converting unrealized gains into cash. He remarked, "Everyone says, 'I have a net worth of $1 billion,' but the issue is, to spend that wealth, you have to sell assets to get cash, and that is often the spark that leads to the bubble bursting."
