[Bitcoin Approaches the $87,000 Mark, U.S. Stocks Hit Record Highs]
According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on October 7, as reported by Cointelegraph, the recent performance of the U.S. stock market has been strong, with the Nasdaq Composite Index, Nasdaq 100 Index, and S&P 500 Index all reaching record highs. Among them, the S&P 500 Index rose 0.8%, closing at 7,835 points. Data shows that the correlation between Bitcoin and U.S. stock market trends has strengthened. As of October 2, the positive correlation coefficient between the two and the S&P 500 rose to 0.51, the highest since early June this year.
Against this backdrop, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) has been hovering around $86,000, with its advance toward $87,000 facing resistance. CointGlass data indicates that significant ask liquidity is concentrated near the $87,000 level, forming a "stair-step" resistance wall that limits further price increases.
Additionally, Keith Alan, co-founder of Crypto Trading Suite Material Indicators, analyzed that the current key support level is at $83,500, which is near Bitcoin's 21-day Simple Moving Average (SMA).
