Today, the OKX event was buzzing with energy—it's been a while since I've seen such an electrifying atmosphere. Maybe this is the magic of a bull market!
@star_okx's speech at OKX NOW today really resonated with me. One point that stood out was: 'In the future, everyone might have their own AI Banker.' That idea hit me hard. If this becomes a reality, the scope of services OKX can provide will be far beyond today's trading scenarios.
When we talk about investing, we often focus on what to buy and when to buy it. But for individuals, questions like how much capital can be allocated for long-term investments, what major expenses are coming up in the next few years, and how much risk one can tolerate are just as important. In the past, having someone continuously understand your financial situation and help you adjust your plans was a high-barrier service. AI gives me hope that this barrier can be lowered.
The way I see it, an AI Banker should be able to assist based on a person’s real-life circumstances. For example, if I plan to buy a house in three years, it could help me organize savings and investments based on my income, daily expenses, and existing assets. If my income changes or my family incurs a new expense, the plan could adjust accordingly. This ability to continuously understand needs and guide decision-making is incredibly valuable. It means that everyday people could access personalized financial services that were once out of reach.
For this vision to move forward, it requires the integration of three technologies: the internet, crypto, and AI. The internet enables financial services to reach users worldwide, crypto provides 24/7 programmable fund flows, and AI has the potential to lower the cost of understanding needs and creating solutions. When these three come together, it becomes possible for someone to go from expressing their goals to understanding a plan and then executing it—all in a more seamless way.
This is also why I’m optimistic about OKX’s long-term potential. Its existing capabilities in trading, wallets, and payments already lay the foundation for connecting financial needs with practical operations. If AI can gradually integrate these, users will have even more reasons to use OKX: managing daily finances, making cross-border payments, and planning long-term investments could all become regular use cases.
From a business perspective, this means OKX has the opportunity to serve a broader audience and play a deeper role in users’ everyday financial lives. The shift from one-off transactions to years-long asset management is, in my opinion, the most exciting change to watch.
I’m really looking forward to seeing how the AI Banker discussed today will gradually make its way into actual products. For everyday users, their needs are simple: spend less time understanding complex rules, have a clearer idea of how to manage their money, and stick to long-term plans more easily. This kind of long-term value and user loyalty is what OKX is constantly striving for. Also, super happy to see OKB pumping today—let’s aim for 500!
