[Winklevoss Submits Spot Zcash ETF Application to U.S. SEC, Plans to List on Nasdaq] According to Deep Tide TechFlow on October 6, as reported by Crypto Unfolded, Winklevoss Asset Services has filed an S-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch a spot ETF directly holding Zcash (ZEC), with plans to list it on the Nasdaq exchange. Previously, Grayscale launched its Zcash investment product ZCSH in August 2025, which currently manages over $900 million in assets with a management fee rate of 2.5%. The report noted that after a significant price increase this year, ZEC is currently trading at approximately $1,350. The new spot ETF application could further expand institutional investors' access to privacy coins, but given the regulatory scrutiny faced by privacy coins, there remains uncertainty about whether the product will be approved.
