Lite hit a new high today! Over the weekend, we talked about Cohr having a catch-up rally, and yesterday we mentioned that AAOI's ATM offering completion would bring a wave of action. The big logic behind the optical interconnect sector leading the semiconductor supply chain this time is still the same logic we discussed in that August post. The core idea is the lagging effect of data center construction: CapEx announcements → Civil engineering/power (2025) → Server deployment (2026) → Intensive consumption of optical modules. Then, as AI clusters scale up from tens of thousands of cards to hundreds of thousands, the demand for optics is further amplified. Simply put, the wave of data center construction has reached the stage where optical interconnect demand is being realized.
