OKX secured a new round of funding at a $25 billion valuation from Qube Research & Technologies, Circle, Ripple, and Standard Chartered Bank's SC Ventures.
Honestly, I don’t think OKX is short on cash, but the investors’ positions in the financial ecosystem speak volumes. It feels more like OKX is building long-term strategic partnerships.
- Circle: Issuer of USDC, a top player in the stablecoin space
- Ripple: Cross-border payments and settlements
- Standard Chartered SC Ventures: Traditional banking, custody, and compliance channels
- QRT: A London-based quant hedge fund focused on institutional trading
Plus, with the New York Stock Exchange parent company ICE already investing back in March, they’ve essentially brought together stablecoins, payments, banking, institutional trading, and traditional exchanges. This doesn’t look like a simple financial investment—it’s more like OKX is becoming the bridge between traditional finance and crypto.
With this setup, there’s no reason for OKB not to pump.
