Looking at the current situation in Japan and South Korea, this wave of large-scale resident information leaks is most likely the result of hackers leveraging the latest AI advancements. Many of the targets are companies with external membership systems, and after infiltrating, they directly scrape users' KYC data. Over the past few days, many of my colleagues in Japan and South Korea have been discussing this. From names, phone numbers, to addresses—basically everything is exposed. The price of a more intelligent AI era: being forced to accept the naked exposure of information.
