Lido: MetaMask Staking has almost completed the exit of Lido validators, exiting ETH and re entering Lido in the coming weeks
Lido announced on the X platform that, following last week's infrastructure investigation, MetaMask Staking has almost completed the process of withdrawing its Lido validators without any unexpected incidents. The withdrawn ETH will continue to re-enter the Lido protocol in the coming weeks. Lido stated that the operator disclosed the issue in advance and acted quickly to minimize the impact on stETH holders. With the last batch of validators completing their exits, the annualized yield of stETH is 2.23%, reaching or exceeding the level since August. Lido pointed out that the stETH reward comes from a diversified combination of over 600 independent node operators, and the preventive exit of a single larger operator has limited impact on the total reward; The shortening of Ethereum's queue also allows newly pledged ETH to receive returns earlier.
