[Soneium Plans to Support On-Chain IP Asset and Licensing Registration Standard ERC-8432] Soneium, incubated by Sony and Startale, announced that it is advancing IP standardization and intends to support the on-chain IP asset and licensing registry (ERC-8432) as one of the open standards in this field. ERC-8432 was published on Ethereum Magicians on September 28 and aims to provide a universal interface for interactions between AI agents and tokenized IP. Soneium pointed out that AI agents can discover, remix, and reuse creative works within seconds, but merely holding IP tokens does not inform the agents of what they are permitted to do. ERC-8432 enables rights holders to register tokenized IP and attach licensing terms, allowing AI agents to verify authorization and obtain agreements in a single transaction, achieving 'register once, authorize everywhere.'
