According to Wu Blockchain, Wintermute stated that last week, altcoins overall dropped by 1.1%, marking the first weekly decline since early August, while BTC rose by 2.4%. The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield climbed to around 5.35%, the highest level since 2008, and the correlation between BTC and the S&P 500 index has risen again. Wintermute believes that the current macroeconomic drawdown risk outweighs crypto-specific catalysts. BTC has confirmed support at $82,500 after breaking through the $76,000–$82,500 range, with the next upward test zone around $90,000–$95,000. Wintermute mentioned that if long-term yields fall, they will maintain a moderately bullish stance, but they currently do not recommend chasing low-quality altcoins.
