[Hong Kong Government Reaffirms Submission of Crypto Asset Licensing Bill Amendment by End of 2026] Odaily Planet Daily News – The Hong Kong government has reaffirmed its plan to submit an amendment to the crypto asset licensing bill by the end of 2026, establishing a licensing regime covering digital asset trading, custody, advisory, and management services. Christopher Hui, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau of Hong Kong, stated that the amendment will address developments in the fintech sector. In January this year, Christopher Hui revealed that regulatory authorities plan to submit a crypto asset regulatory proposal by the end of 2026.
