**[Ray Dalio: The U.S. May Face a Debt Crisis Within Three Years]** Odaily Planet Daily News – Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio stated on October 6 that the U.S. could face a debt crisis within three years as interest expenses are squeezing the federal budget. The U.S. has an annual revenue of approximately $5.5 trillion and expenditures of about $7.5 trillion, resulting in a fiscal deficit of nearly $2 trillion. Federal debt held by external entities amounts to approximately $32 trillion, with annual interest payments of about $1 trillion. On October 5, the yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury note closed at 5.31%, while the 30-year yield stood at 5.66%. In July, Japan held $1.10 trillion in U.S. Treasury bonds, down from $1.24 trillion in February. Japan's 10-year government bond yield rose to 3.12% on October 1, the highest level since August 1996. Ray Dalio proposed a "3% Three-Part Plan" to reduce the fiscal deficit ratio from approximately 6% of GDP to 3% by cutting spending, increasing tax revenue, and lowering interest rates. He also recommended allocating 10% to 15% of investment portfolios to gold, while keeping only a small portion in Bitcoin. As of October 6, Bitcoin's price was approximately $85,630, about 32% lower than its all-time high of $126,080, and down roughly 3.5% year-to-date. During the same period, gold futures fell by about 4.2%. (Source: Bitcoin.com News)
