Ondo Finance Launches Ondo Private Markets, Tokenizing Private Company Equity Returns for On-Chain Trading

Ondo Private Markets provides investment exposure via tokenized notes, with the returns of each token linked to the per-share value of the relevant company's common stock during qualifying liquidity events (such as IPOs or other exit events). The tokens can be freely transferred and integrated with the on-chain DeFi ecosystem. Ondo Finance stated that a large number of high-growth companies in the United States remain private, preventing ordinary investors from participating in the early value growth of these companies for an extended period. Data shows that approximately 87% of U.S. companies with revenues exceeding $100 million are still private, while traditional private market investment opportunities are primarily concentrated among institutional investors and venture capital firms.
