[Andre Cronje: NFTs Should Be More Than Just JPEG Wrappers, Flying Tulip Introduces Perpetual Options in NFT Form] Flying Tulip founder Andre Cronje stated on the X platform that he has long believed NFTs can and should serve functions beyond being 'JPEG wrappers.' In its initial sale, the Flying Tulip project issued perpetual options (Perpetual Options) to participants, which were released in the form of ERC-721 NFTs. These NFTs include FT tokens and grant investors the right to redeem their invested funds if the project's development direction does not meet expectations. Andre Cronje noted that this design provides investors with 'complete downside protection while retaining upside exposure.' Users can trade FT tokens on the secondary market or purchase PUT options in Flying Tulip's perpetual options market.
