[On-chain options trading volume doubled in September to approximately $5 billion, Derive accounts for nearly 80%] According to CryptoBriefing, as reported by Jinse Finance on October 6, the nominal trading volume of on-chain options in September 2026 nearly doubled month-on-month, reaching $4.829 billion, a 121.7% increase (depending on the metric, ranging from $4.8 billion to $5.66 billion). Derive (formerly Lyra Finance) ranked first with a nominal trading volume of approximately $3.8 billion, accounting for about 79% of the market that month; its share based on premiums reached 91% to 92%. From the beginning of the year to September, it accounted for 87.4% of on-chain options premiums. Its token DRV hit a new high of $0.3857 mid-month. After Paradex integrated Paradigm's RFQ system in mid-September, its open interest exceeded $250 million, with nominal trading volume increasing 285% month-on-month; Hypercall's nominal market share was approximately 11.2%.
