Traders can occasionally have small meetups Or hang out with friends for tea more often But frequently discussing market trends with other traders Especially sharing positions and learning together In my opinion, the cons outweigh the pros The noise in the market is super chaotic Sometimes even the chatter on TS Square makes you want to escape And there are only so many people here Yet you already hear all kinds of talk Offline, emotions run even wilder What’s said casually might be taken seriously by someone else Even Buffett and Munger don’t stick together every day They only communicate when necessary With a long phone call Or a chat at a café Most of the time They’re each reading, thinking, and reflecting on their own They don’t even work in the same office Most of the people you meet are probably not as good as Buffett or Munger, right? So don’t expect a brief interaction with someone To completely change your perspective True growth comes from processing and reflecting after those interactions And that requires you To quietly absorb it on your own Don’t set your expectations too high for anyone That includes me, of course On the path of trading No one can guide you across You can only rely on yourself
