[TeraWulf Doubles Contracted Power at Muskie Campus to 1 GW, Plans Expansion to 2 GW]
According to a report by CryptoBriefing on October 6, Nasdaq-listed TeraWulf (WULF) announced that the contracted power capacity at its Muskie data campus in eastern Kentucky, USA, has doubled to 1 gigawatt. The campus spans 285 acres within a 1,000-acre industrial park and is designed to support AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads. Construction will be carried out in two phases: Phase 1, with a target of 500 megawatts, is expected to be operational in the second half of 2028, while Phase 2, also targeting 500 megawatts, is planned for the second half of 2030. The campus was acquired in May of this year. CEO Paul Prager stated in August that, due to ample power supply and well-developed surrounding infrastructure, the campus has the potential to expand to 2 gigawatts. However, this remains a proposal and has not yet been finalized.
