[Visa and CoinShares Survey: Growing Interest in Crypto Assets Among Consumers and Wealthy Investors] According to The Block, a survey conducted by Visa and CoinShares reveals rising interest in stablecoin payments among Asia-Pacific consumers, while wealthy investors in Europe and the U.S. already hold significant amounts of crypto assets. Visa's survey shows that 46% of Asia-Pacific respondents may use stablecoins within the next five years, compared to 16% who have used them in the past 12 months. Additionally, 66% are aware of stablecoins, but only 6% can accurately understand how they work, and 38% of non-users are concerned about fraud. CoinShares' survey indicates that in seven markets, the majority of wealthy investors already hold digital assets, with ownership rates ranging from 54% in Sweden to 70% in the U.S., U.K., and Germany. Allocations are concentrated at around 10% of their investment portfolios. Among digital asset investors, 80% hold Bitcoin, and at least 85% of current investors plan to increase their exposure by 2026, while only 6% primarily focus on short-term trading.
