BUNDESBANK CHIEF WARNS GERMANY OVER LOW GAS STORAGE
Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel criticized Germany’s slow pace of rebuilding natural gas inventories, warning it could add to inflation risks this winter.
German storage sites are only around 59% full, the lowest seasonal level in records dating to 2009 and well below the EU average of 72%.
Nagel warned that “upward risks dominate” the euro-area inflation outlook, with gas prices particularly vulnerable.(彭博社)
