Add a little more:
1. The temperature in Singapore is around 30 degrees Celsius all year round, so coming to Singapore can be a summer outfit. Some young girls may pay attention to sun protection, but in my personal opinion, it's not a big problem. Moreover, Singapore has high humidity and doesn't require frequent hydration.
In addition, there are very few mosquitoes in Singaporean rooms, usually only near grasslands and pools. However, there are more cockroaches in Singapore, which are almost impossible to see in better hotels. But if you go to Yalong to eat frog Congee, you will see cockroaches the size of your thumb crawling around. It's good to get used to it.
2. Minghui Tianji Congee is not delicious, and Jiuxiang Tianji Congee is not bad, but the price has risen, and the average price is about 35 Singapore dollars, which may not be worth it. Personally, I highly recommend a lobster Congee called ZHUP ZHUP. It's super delicious, but it needs to reserve a place, and there is no air conditioner. It depends on fate whether you can eat it.
In addition, there is also a good restaurant called 'Jiu Feng Zhi Ji', which mainly serves stir fried chicken. Their barbecue is cooked by an intangible cultural heritage chef, and the owner is a well-known Singaporean food internet celebrity. Also, the crayfish of the Shrimp King is really good. If you have friends from Henan, I highly recommend the 'shopkeeper', and everything you have tried is good.
There are also good Peranakan dishes, but I won't recommend them. The good ones are almost out of line, and there are a lot of unappetizing ones. In addition, if you want something poetic and picturesque, you can go to the restaurants by the river in Kela Matou, where "Beijiang" and "Shandong Hotel" are both good. When positioning themselves, they said they wanted to be located by the river. After 5pm, it's not too sunny or hot, and the scenery is very beautiful.
On the contrary, I don't recommend the meat and bone tea that everyone will go to eat. The pine hair at Kela Wharf should be the hottest, and there is also an Asian meat and bone tea across the street, which has a decent taste. If it's a bit high-end, Wenzhou Prefecture can also do it. My friends and I highly recommend Shin Yu, a well-established self-service Japanese restaurant in Singapore.
3. Meals are mainly concentrated in Chinatown and Bukit Bintang. Chinatown is known for its various delicious foods, including a famous dish called "Shorty Pie". Chinatown also has many cooked foods that are not easily available in other areas.
Bugis, also known as Wujishi, has very famous dessert shops, such as Ah Qiu Dessert's durian ice cream, which is very delicious. Even small shops on the roadside in Singapore have good hygiene when it comes to food, but it is important to note that if you wish to have private rooms, you must make a reservation in advance.
Singapore's hotpot culture is also good, with Principal Feng being the top choice for spicy hotpot, and Mr. San Guo being the top choice for Beijing's copper pot. Especially since Mr. San Guo has almost become a cafeteria, there is a chance to catch some well-known cryptocurrency KOLs, such as Nai Zi Ge, by going to Principal Feng.
4. The prices in Singapore are indeed relatively expensive. If converted, they are about three times or even higher than those in Shanghai. The difference between Shanghai and Tokyo is not significant, and to some extent, Singapore is even more expensive than Hong Kong. In Singapore, it is not necessary to go to supermarkets such as 7-11 to buy water and drinks, as they are indeed quite expensive. You can go to non chain small supermarkets.
If 330ML of cola is within 2 Singapore dollars, then it is considered relatively cheap. When I lived in Gaowen in the early days, there was an Indian supermarket where cola cost 1.2 Singapore dollars per bottle. I bought half a box at once and haven't seen such a cheap one in a long time.
Most friends come to Singapore for 3-4 days, mainly to see the Merlion and stroll around the Sands. If they have time, they can also visit the Globe. However, my most recommended destination is the East Coast, which combines seaside, grassland, coconut trees, bike lanes, running trails, barbecue areas, and restaurants.
The entire park is approximately 13 kilometers along the coast, covering 180 hectares, and is open 24 hours a day. It is very suitable to visit after 4 or 5 pm and stay until evening. If it were my arrangement, I would start from the Marine Cove area, slowly cycling or taking a walk along the coast towards the east, visiting East Coast Beach along the way, and finally finding a place to eat.
There are many good restaurants on the East Coast, especially those that eat seafood. Although they are expensive, they are indeed delicious.
5. It is said that Hainan chicken in Singapore is delicious. Among my friends around me, there are three best restaurants to eat: Five Star Hainan chicken, Wendongji chicken, and Tiantian chicken. Their Chinese dish, Dongji chicken, has a store in Chinatown and is not expensive. The taste is good.
I just remembered that the best durian I've ever tasted should be near the Gaowen subway station. Unfortunately, it's not durian season recently, so some people have to form a group to take everyone to eat durian.
I suddenly remembered that Hong Kong Bridge Bottom Spicy Crab should be on par with Spicy Crab and Black Pepper Crab. Many people like to go to Treasure to eat them, but to be honest, I think it's average. I still prefer to eat Elephant Clam sashimi.
Singapore's evenings are very safe, although not as active, they are indeed exceptionally safe and there is nothing to worry about. Even a little girl doesn't have to worry, and there are also many nighttime entertainment options in Singapore.
Generally speaking, 143, Juheng is considered the first tier, Supreme and Jinhuang are probably the second tier, Empire and Catwalk should be the third tier. If someone says I'll take you to the basement, then they should be really good friends. Of course, there are still some fun options. I don't think everyone is interested, so I won't introduce them.
My subscription section will have some small introductions, and Steven is a good friend who has introduced me a lot. Mainly located on Orchard Road, so friends who live on Orchard Road can come out and go shopping at night, ensuring that you won't see anything.
Although Singapore has compliant red light districts, I believe that most people who come to Singapore are not very interested in sprouts, but I estimate that there will be some people who want to take a look. In fact, it's really nothing, you can't see anything outside.
The red light district is mainly composed of even numbered alleys. When I first arrived, Steven did take me for a walk. After all, I was quite curious, so I guess many friends also wanted to go and see it. After seeing it once, it wouldn't be much. If someone has to go to Yalong to eat frog Congee, they can eat it and have a snack.
The red light district is very small, only half a street, and it is not lively at all. On the contrary, it is quite quiet. It needs to be reminded that although the red light district in Geylang is legal, standing on the street is illegal, and Singapore often sweeps it.
If you have any fright during your night in Singapore and happen to have my contact information, you can contact me. It's okay to help if you can.
