US has removed all B-1 bombers from UK as six men in UK were arrested on suspicion of plotting a terrorist attack. 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 The removal follows the arrest of five British men and one dual British Iranian national on September 27, suspected of plotting a terrorist attack on the base, which had served as the primary staging hub for US bomber strikes against Iran. British PM Andy Burnham said the government had strong indications of Iranian involvement. RAF Fairford has been the forward operating base for roughly a dozen B-1B Lancers running bombing missions against Iran for roughly seven months. The IRGC had previously warned London directly that it considered Fairford a legitimate military target.
