[Cryptocurrency Job Openings Tripled in September, While Number of Job Seekers Declined] Deep Tide TechFlow News, October 4 — According to CoinDesk, data from CryptoJobsList shows that after a quiet first half of 2026 in the cryptocurrency industry, September saw a rebound in hiring. The total number of job postings this month surged to 1,241, more than tripling compared to July's 382, and the number of hiring companies also recovered to 125, significantly higher than August's 77. In contrast, the enthusiasm for applications showed a cooling trend. Statistics indicate that the total number of applications in July reached 25,700, then dropped to 24,631 in August, and further declined to less than 20,000 in September. This mismatch between supply and demand suggests that as job openings expand, competition for professional talent in the crypto sector may be intensifying. In terms of demand specifics, finance, engineering, and trading ranked as the top three hiring categories, while stablecoins, artificial intelligence, security, and compliance also made it into the top ten. Regarding technical background requirements, familiarity with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana emerged as the core skills most sought after by employers.
