[Visa: Stablecoin Usage in Commercial Payments Surges, Transaction Volume Up Nearly 200% Year-on-Year] According to the latest data released by Visa, stablecoins are increasingly becoming a critical component of corporate financial infrastructure. As of fiscal year 2026, approximately 17% of stablecoin-linked card transaction volume comes from commercial and corporate card programs, reflecting the growing adoption of stablecoins in settlement, fund management, payroll, and cross-border trade. Currently, Visa supports over 160 stablecoin-linked card programs spanning both personal and commercial sectors, with related payment transaction volumes increasing nearly 200% year-on-year. Industry research firm Allium further corroborates this trend, noting that payments have become the fastest-growing application scenario for stablecoins, with annual payment volumes estimated to range between $401 billion and $527 billion, of which B2B payments account for as much as 43% in cross-border transactions.
