Two months ago, at the request of my friends, I wrote a series of data analyses on ETH. I discussed Ethereum's 'value for money' from multiple angles, including holdings, supply and demand, whale costs, and more. When it comes to trading, I clearly shared my personal view (see Image 1): Start getting in when all the above conditions are met. Over the past 10 years, this strategy has had a success rate of nearly 99.99% (at the time, ETH was priced at $1,800). But some friends didn’t believe what I said or trust the data. Especially after I published the second post in the series, many people questioned whether ETH could really return to $2,700. Why $2,700? Because at the time, it appeared to be the area with the highest concentration of holdings (see Image 2). In the $2,700-$2,800 range, nearly 13 million ETH were stuck, meaning the selling pressure here would likely continue to suppress ETH’s price, right? My response to this was straightforward: $7,200 ETH might be hard to see, but $2,700 ETH? I never doubted it. However, reality often turns out differently than you imagine. As of October 1, the holdings in the $2,700-$2,800 range remain concentrated. In fact, the total amount has not decreased compared to two months ago—it has increased by 380,000 ETH. Now, there are 13.38 million ETH in this range (see Image 3). And ETH’s price has returned to $2,700! Haha, if you missed out, are you now feeling nostalgic for $1,800 ETH? The concentrated holdings have shown strong conviction, creating favorable conditions for ETH’s price recovery. Of course, from $2,700 to $3,000, a large number of holdings will shift from unrealized losses to unrealized gains. Logically, the $2,700-$3,000 range will act as a relatively strong resistance zone, and it will once again test the loyalty of ETH holders. In particular, we need to watch the attitudes and actions of ETH whales, as they will significantly influence its future performance.
