The foundation would hold the trademarks and related intellectual property of the Aave protocol under the supervision of the Aave DAO. The proposal currently only covers the foundation's registration and the appointment of independent directors, supervisors, and a secretary. Governance rights related to token listings, parameter adjustments, and budgets will remain with the DAO. The transfer of trademarks, domain names, and codebase IP will be submitted for governance review separately after the foundation is established.
