[Aave Labs Submits ARFC Proposal to Establish Aave Foundation in the Cayman Islands] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on October 3, Aave Labs submitted an ARFC proposal to establish a non-member Aave Foundation in the Cayman Islands. The foundation will be used to hold, protect, and license Aave trademarks, primary domain names, protocol code, and related intellectual property. This is the first phase, involving only the registration of the foundation and the appointment of independent directors, supervisors, and a secretary. The DAO will bear reasonable registration, legal, and establishment costs, with no ongoing budget allocated. Aave Labs and DAO service providers are prohibited from appointing or serving as directors or supervisors. Governance rights related to token listings, parameter adjustments, budgeting, and service provider selection will remain with the DAO. Subsequent transfers of trademarks, domain names, and code IP will be submitted for governance review separately. The foundation will disclose its held assets, operational expenses, and related legal actions on a quarterly basis.
