The pricing scheme for these AI products is broken. The expenses aren't fixed.
If you sell a fixed price product and have the expenses be variable, people exploit it, and put you into a loss. The IPO is essentially subsidizing this loss.
The issue here is you're subsidizing energy. Coal, gas, whatever, the greenhouse gas is you're creating, it's being subsidized.
Furthermore, no one can hire if you're constantly losing money. Especially if you're pressing down on a whoooole bunch of competition.
Fix the pricing model (make it variable based on energy price and usage) and you'll fix the economy. AI job losses aren't the problem, the pricing model is.
