[Institution: September Non-Farm Payroll Data Supports Fed's Pause on Rate Hikes] Reported by Jinse Finance, on October 2, Annex Wealth Management Chief Economic Strategist Brian Jacobsen stated that the U.S. labor market is not as strong as initially believed. July's data was revised downward to show negative growth, and although August saw a decent rebound, the momentum abruptly halted in September, with only 29,000 jobs added. The employment diffusion index fell back below 50. Federal Reserve Chair Waller previously expressed concerns about the breadth of inflation, but now he will have to consider the lack of breadth in the labor market. This data supports a pause in rate hikes for October. (Jin10)
