NEW: Google sends AI chips into space to test data centers in orbit 🚀 Google launched its AI chips, called TPUs, into space on a SpaceX rocket. The chips will be tested against radiation, extreme temperatures and cooling challenges. Google wants to see if future AI data centers can operate in space using almost constant sunlight for power. Google says solar panels in orbit could generate up to 8x more power than on Earth.
