Wu Blockchain has learned that the blockchain anti-money laundering platform AMLBot stated that the Bitget attacker seemingly confused Ethereum and Arbitrum twice while transferring stolen funds, resulting in approximately $700,000 worth of assets being blocked. Among them, about 267,000 USDC was sent to the Chainflip deposit channel on the wrong chain, and the associated address was subsequently blacklisted by Circle. Additionally, around 160 ETH (approximately $430,000) was bridged to Arbitrum but then sent to a channel that only exists on Ethereum, leaving the funds stuck.
