116K ETH options expired, with a Put Call Ratio of 1.17, max pain at $2,660, and a notional value of $320 million.
Today marks the first weekly expiry day after the quarterly settlement. BTC prices showed a clear rebound on expiry day, with strong activity in large bullish options trades, making it one of the more active weekly expiry days. BTC has been consolidating around $85K for over a week, and market sentiment remains very positive. Community discussions are mainly focused on expectations of price increases for major tokens.
Looking at the key options data, the main term IV this week has decreased compared to last week, only slightly recovering from two weeks ago. It’s currently at a low point since the start of this bull market. Monthly realized volatility (RV) follows a similar trend, with VRP for major terms also showing a decline. The Gex peak is at $90,000 and above, while the downside Gex has returned to a more dispersed state.
