[Approximately $459,000 Tradewiz Theft Incident, Receiving Address Linked to 27 Previous Bot Transactions] Odaily Planet Daily News: On-chain data analysis firm Bitquery has linked the receiving address involved in the theft of approximately $459,000 in assets from Tradewiz to a wallet that previously completed 27 transactions using the trading bot. Investigation statistics show that the incident on September 30 affected 20,933 wallets, with losses involving SOL, tokens, and deposits retrieved after closing token accounts; the valuation is based on a SOL price of $120. Bitquery discovered that Tradewiz's trading activity ceased 41 minutes after the main fund transfers began; approximately 73% of the SOL involved in this round of transfers was moved afterward. Tradewiz stated that the incident was related to a private key leak in the SOL PVP export function and promised to compensate users for their losses. A subsequent update indicated that the first batch of refunds had been issued, with claims requiring verification. Tradewiz also suspended EVM services for security checks and noted that law enforcement is assisting in tracking the assets, with exchanges contacted to seek identity and account verification information. Bitquery tracked some of the early funds originating from MEXC withdrawals, which were later transferred to Kucoin deposit addresses; these connections do not indicate that the two exchanges were involved in the theft.
